YOUNG READERS REMEMBER LAURA SYPEK, RAISE FUNDS FOR SOUPY FOR LOOPY FOUNDATION in Summer, 2009.
Seventeen young readers read nearly 250 books from Laura’s Loft and collected over $1,200 to help fight childhood cancer in memory of Laura in the 2nd Annual Ready, Set, Read fundraising program. For each book they read during the library’s 2009 Summer Reading Program, these children collected $1 per book from family members, friends and neighbors to benefit Soupy for Loopy Foundation. They also became eligible for weekly drawings and special APPLE IPOD SHUFFLE drawings. Congratulations. You’re the best!!!
