Laura had a strong conviction for raising money for research and she always looked forward to the Taste of the Valley on the town common and getting her lemonade booth ready. Although she couldn’t sell “real” lemonade, she did help Alex’s Lemonade Stand raise hundreds of dollars by selling paper lemons and raffle tickets for some really good prizes (thanks to her dad). She did, however, sell “real” lemonade from her driveway to raise more money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

 
Despite her age, Laura worked actively to raise money for cancer research.
