2nd Annual BLAST OUT NEUROBLASTOMA Super Soaker Fundraiser at Fausey Elementary School in June, 2010

3rd, 4th and 5th graders from John R. Fausey Elementary School in West Springfield, Massachusetts participated in the 2nd Annual BLAST OUT NEUROBLASTOMA Super Soaker Fundraiser to benefit Soupy for Loopy. The event, held after school hours, was organized by Vice Principal Donna Calabrese and Physical Education teacher Michele Feeley. Children participated in a number of teambuilding and individual activities using their favorite super soakers. Overwhelming generosity abounded from families and friends, and the children had a “blast” while raising awareness and funds for cancer research. Children were treated to a Popsicle Party after raising over $450.00. A good time was had by all!

Thanks to the staff, parents and students who helped to raise money and, more importantly, have FUN for a good cause. Kudos to Donna and Michele!

Despite her age, Laura worked actively to raise money for cancer research.
