A great big heartwarming THANKS goes out to everyone who made donations, golfed or came out to join us for dinner at our 5th Annual Soupy for Loopy fundraiser that was held on October 14, 2010 in memory of Laura A. Sypek on her 16th birthday. The emotional release of 16 purple balloons marked the shotgun start for over 140 golfers. With nearly 300 dinner guests present for the dinner and raffle that followed a round of golf, it was another memorable day.

Laura’s older brother, Mark, affectionately remembered Laura on her special day with a very emotional Sixteen Candles tribute. Because of your overwhelming generosity and support, over $20,000 was raised to help find a cure for Neuroblastoma.

A very special thanks to East Mountain Country Club and staff for their hospitality.

An extra special thanks to all of our “soup-er” volunteers for their hard work and continuing commitment. You’re the best!!!
