A great big heartwarming THANKS goes out to everyone who made donations, over 140 golfers who participated in our second golf outing and everyone who came out to join us for dinner in memory of Laura Sypek on her 15th birthday. From the emotional release of 15 purple balloons to mark the shotgun start to a filled-to-capacity banquet room, it was another memorable day. Because of your overwhelming generosity and support, over $17,000 was raised to help Soupy for Loopy Foundation find a cure for Neuroblastoma. We look forward to your ongoing support.

A very special thanks to East Mountain Country Club and staff for their hospitality and to all of our “soup-er”volunteers for their hard work and continuing commitment.

Thank you to 17 “soup-er” kids who participated in our 2nd Annual Ready, Set, Read fundraising program to benefit Soupy for Loopy Foundation in memory of Laura A. Sypek. They read nearly 250 books from Laura’s Loft during the library’s summer reading program and raised over $1,200 for childhood cancer research and treatments by requesting donations of $1 per book from family, friends and neighbors. They also became eligible for weekly drawings and special APPLE IPOD SHUFFLE drawings. Congratulations. You’re the best!!!

Very special thanks to Toni Golinski-Foisy, Terri Mitus and Mia Cabana at the library for their gracious support and assistance again this year.

Special thanks to Kiddly Winks and some very generous anonymous donors who contributed prizes for the weekly and special drawings.

Heartwarming thanks to all, near and far, who sponsored these young readers for without them, this program would not be successful.
