LeapFrog Interactive Soupy for Loopy Fundraiser
When: | Friday, November 2, 2007 |
Where: | LeapFrog Interactive |
On Friday, November 2, 2007, employees at LeapFrog Interactive in Louisville, Kentucky held a Soupy for Loopy Fundraiser.
They brought in crock pots and cans of prepared soups and held a very special fundraising event, donating proceeds to Soupy for Loopy Foundation
and educating staff members about Laura Sypek and Neuroblastoma.
Even though it may not have been Laura’s favorite soup, their kind gesture
proves that anyone can have a Soupy for Loopy Fundraiser at any time, no matter what kind of soup is being served, and donate the proceeds to
Soupy for Loopy Foundation to help make a difference and raise awareness and funds to find a cure for Neuroblastoma.
Thank you, LeapFrog Interactive, for doing this and for a great job on the website!

A great big heartwarming THANKS goes out to everyone who made donations or enjoyed a bowl of Laura's favorite soup to show their support for the 2nd Annual Soupy for Loopy fundraising event in memory of Laura. Because of your overwhelming generosity and support, over 450 bowls of soup were sold at B'Shara's and over $15,000 was raised to help Soupy for Loopy Foundation find a cure for Neuroblastoma. While we are truly grateful for this outpouring of hometown support, we also recognize that this amount, although seemingly large, is only a small portion of what is needed to adequately fund a clinical trial. The mission of Soupy for Loopy Foundation, Inc. has only just begun. We look forward to your ongoing support.
A very special thanks to …
B’Shara’s Eatery for doing this again this year. You’re the best!
John Dombkowski at City Stamp Works, Inc. for getting the word out with great BIG signs for the town common
WPKX and WHYN-AM for getting the word out on the radio
Tom Coburn (West Springfield Record), Angela Carbone (The Republican) and Katelyn Gendron-List (The Reminder) for getting the word out in the newspaper
